Imparted Poetry, Music and Bible Knowledge
Today, I love poems, music and the Bible
Imparted English, Grammar and Anglicised Pronunciation
Today, I teach English, with that same Pronunciation

For over 30 years, I have followed you
What am I without you?
No job, no life, no Arts, no Music
No solos, no CDs, not even a love for God

How do I live each Sunday now without you?
My heart aches, my eyes dim
My voice chokes, my mind recalls
My tears stream down, accompanying the wrong pitch

But you've said to me over the years
Through long phone calls and lunches
I must be a pillar of strength, a leader in the choir
A legacy of God's love, and a friend to all

I hear you now, your words so clear:
sing more, give more, smile more
share more, care more, pray more
but most importantly,
don't be late on Sundays, anymore.
